You are invited to be a part of 1010: United We Win – Breaking a World Record for Largest Mindfulness Lesson, a one of a kind gathering on October 10th, 2024 for World Mental Health Awareness Day, a global initiative dedicated to acknowledging and addressing the importance of our mental health, worldwide. On this day, let’s come together for a celebration of mindfulness, raise mental health awareness, offer support, and foster a community that values the well-being and mental health of its citizens, co-workers, neighbors, friends and family. #Unitedwewin

EVENT SCHEDULE

You are invited to come outside and reconnect on October 10, 2024 in observance of World Mental Health Day as we break a world record for the largest group of people in one space, receiving a mindfulness lesson.

Join this global event as we celebrate wellness and well-being within our community.

 

KB4G – Know Before You Go

Thank you for joining us for the 1010: United We Win event! Below are the key details to help you prepare for the day:

Event Details:

  • Doors Open: 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, you’ll be required to check in and be counted for the World Record Attempt. You’ll also receive information on where to go, along with an opportunity to take pictures and post online.
  • Event Start: 11:00 AM.
  • Mindfulness Lesson: Begins approximately at noon. The lesson is a 60-minute experience featuring a dynamic combination of tools, including breathwork, meditation, sound bath, movement, and a sing-along.

Things to Note:

  • Bring a water bottle, a hand towel, and a mat.
  • We highly recommend applying sunscreen.
  • Attire: Athletic wear is encouraged for your comfort.
  • The event is free to attend with registration and registration will be open on site when doors open.
  • No entry after noon, so please plan accordingly.
  • We strongly encourage carpooling or using public transit to the event.
  • The event will take place outside, so please prepare accordingly.

How To Get Prepared

Doors open at 10:00 am where you will be required to check-in and be counted for the World Record Attempt, information on where to go and an opportunity to take pictures and post online.

  • Bring a Water bottle & hand towel
  • Highly suggest sunscreen
  • Attire: Athletic wear
  • Event is free to attend with registration
  • Doors open at 10am
  • Event starts at 11am
  • Mindfulness lesson begins approximately at noon
  • Mindfulness Lesson is a 60-Minute Experience, consisting of a dynamic compilation of tools, including breath work, meditation, sound bath, meditation, movement and sing-along
  • No Entry after Noon
  • Strongly encourage carpooling or public transit
  • Event is outside

Mindfulness Lesson

We will have one hour of mindfulness lesson to include six 10-minute segments:

  • PART ONE – Meditation
  • PART TWO – Sound Bowl
  • PART THREE – Stretching
  • PART FOUR – Drumming
  • PART FIVE – Movement
  • PART SIX – Sing-a-long

Parking & Transportation

Plan ahead with a variety of parking and transportation options for games and events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Please use precaution when purchasing parking passes from secondary resale markets.

  • By Marta – he preferred station for arrival and departure is the Vine City Station. This station will drop you off just across the street from Gate 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge at Northside Drive.
  • By Car – Get ready for the event by reviewing parking lot information near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and purchasing parking. For more information, review their parking rules and policies.
  • By RideShare – Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Vine City MARTA Station and use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge to walk across Northside Drive to Gate 1.

    The event will be held at the Home Depot Backyard, offering a spacious and welcoming environment. Please note that there is paid and limited public parking available. To make your experience smoother, we strongly encourage the use of public transportation or rideshare drop off to MARTA’s Vine City Station. The venue is easily accessible by bus and rail, and we recommend planning your trip in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
